2015

The exhibit of "Japanese Antarctic Research Expeditions" by Lois M. Evans-de Violini won the 2015 Robert M. Spaulding ISJP Award at SESCAL.

 

The award is a fine 17th century Japanese lobed dish decorated in underglaze blue and deep tones, depicting two scholars in a garden landscape.

 

Presented by Ken Kamholz and Ed Kawasaki on behalf of the ISJP at the SESCAL exhibition.
